Getting started
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Your trial starts immediately when you connect your TikTok Shop. No credit card required. You get full access to paid-plan features for 14 days. After the trial, you can subscribe or continue on the Free plan (up to 100 orders/month).
What TikTok Shop permissions does Foregrade need?
We request read access to orders, products, and returns to calculate profit and track deadlines. Write access to returns lets you approve or reject directly from your dashboard. We never request permissions we don't use.
What if I don't know my exact COGS?
Start with an estimated percentage (e.g., 30% of sale price) using our bulk COGS tool, then refine over time. Foregrade will still calculate profit — accuracy improves as you dial in your costs.
Is Foregrade available outside the UK?
Foregrade is currently available for UK TikTok Shop sellers only. EU support is on our Year-2 roadmap; we aren't planning US support. Join our waitlist at foregrade.io/waitlist to be notified when we launch in other markets.
How profit + returns work
How does Foregrade calculate my profit?
We pull every order from TikTok Shop and subtract all fees (referral, affiliate, fulfillment, campaign) plus your product costs (COGS) and return costs. The result is your real net profit per order and per product.
How accurate are the profit calculations?
Foregrade uses official TikTok Shop API fee data. Accuracy depends on your COGS entries — we show a confidence indicator on your dashboard and flag any products with missing cost data.
How do return deadline alerts work?
Foregrade syncs your returns every 4 hours on paid plans (daily on Free) and calculates auto-approval deadlines based on TikTok's policies. You get email alerts before each deadline so you can approve or reject from your dashboard — no more refunds auto-approved against your will.
What counts as a 'true return cost'?
When a return happens, you lose more than the refund. Foregrade calculates refund + admin fees + lost affiliate commission + return shipping + your COGS. That's often 1.5–3× the refund amount — our return cost calculator shows the breakdown.
How often does Foregrade sync my orders?
Orders and returns sync automatically every 4 hours on paid plans (daily on Free). You can also trigger a manual sync anytime from the dashboard.
Do you support multiple TikTok shops?
Currently Foregrade supports one TikTok Shop per account. Multi-shop support is on our roadmap.
Billing + plans
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes — upgrade, downgrade, pause, or cancel from your settings page. Downgrades take effect on your next billing cycle. Cancellations keep your access until the end of the current period.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes. Every paid plan (and the Founder's Deal) is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee from your first paid charge. If Foregrade isn't right for you within 14 days, email support@foregrade.io with the subject 'Refund request' and we refund the most recent charge in full — no questions asked. Outside the 14-day window, no refunds are issued for partial billing periods. See our Terms of Service §5 for full details.
What's the Founder's Deal?

Are there any setup fees or hidden charges?
No. The price you see is the price you pay — monthly or annual, billed directly via Stripe. No setup fees, no overage charges, no surprise bills.
Security + your data
Is my TikTok Shop data safe?
Yes. All TikTok OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We connect via TikTok's official OAuth API — we never see your password. Your data is never shared with or sold to third parties.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export orders, products, and profit data as CSV or JSON from Settings at any time. Your data is always yours.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period. After cancellation, we retain your data for 90 days in case you reactivate — after that it's permanently deleted. You can also request immediate deletion from Settings → Delete Account.
