Delete your account

You can delete your Foregrade account at any time. Deletion is permanent — all data is removed.

Before you delete

Consider these alternatives:

• Cancel subscription only — keeps your data for 90 days in case you come back
• Pause subscription — 30 days of paused billing, auto-resumes after
• Downgrade to Free — no charges, keeps most features

How to delete

1. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
2. Read the confirmation carefully
3. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT (case-sensitive) in the confirmation box
4. Click Delete permanently

What happens after you delete

Immediately:

• Your Stripe subscription is cancelled
• Your session is terminated
• All data across 17 database tables is deleted (orders, returns, products, buyer data, etc.)
• TikTok OAuth tokens are revoked
• Foregrade stops receiving any webhooks from TikTok for your shop

Within 30 days:

• Backup copies are purged from our database backups
• Any error reports referencing you in Sentry are purged

What we keep and why

Two things are retained even after deletion, for legal / financial compliance:

• Audit log entries for account deletion itself (required for compliance evidence)
• Stripe billing records (financial records, required for tax reporting — TikTok ToS Section 7 permits retention for legal purposes)

These records don't contain your TikTok Shop data or OAuth tokens — just a record that "user X was deleted on date Y".

Instant deauthorization (without deleting)

If you just want to disconnect your TikTok Shop (keep your Foregrade account), go to Settings → Connection → Disconnect. This revokes our API access immediately while preserving your historical data.
