Reconnect your TikTok Shop
If your OAuth token expired, here's how to restore the connection.
Last updated: 2026-04-17
TikTok OAuth tokens expire periodically (normal for security). If your sync stops working, you may need to reconnect.
How you'll know
- Banner on dashboard: "TikTok connection expired"
- Email: "Your TikTok Shop data hasn't synced in 24 hours"
- Error on sync: "TikTok connection expired. Please reconnect your shop."
How to reconnect
- Go to Settings → Connection
- Click Reconnect TikTok Shop
- You'll be redirected to TikTok's OAuth page
- Confirm authorization (same shop — don't create a new one)
- You're redirected back to Foregrade, sync resumes automatically
Why it happens
- TikTok rotates tokens on password changes or security events
- You revoked access from TikTok Seller Center → Apps
- 30+ days of inactivity (TikTok's policy, not ours)
Your data during the disconnect window
- Your dashboard keeps all historical data — nothing is lost
- New orders/returns won't sync until you reconnect
- Alerts stop firing until sync resumes
Still not working?
- Make sure you're logged into the correct TikTok Shop account
- TikTok Shop's authorization flow only accepts the shop owner — this is a TikTok platform requirement, not a Foregrade restriction
- If you see "Invalid region", your shop may not be UK-based (Foregrade is UK-only)
- Contact support if the reconnect flow errors out
